Neil has taken part in several marathons and it was the untimely death of his brother which stimulated his charity running.
Thought you all might like to know the result of another great fund raising achievement led by the redoutable Jenny and a great team of helpers- therapists and volunteers alike.
The Gross proceeds of the Quiz night last month ( tickets, raffle, donations etc., ) was £697.35. After deducting the costs of room hire and the supper we were left with a net for the Centre of £507.49
Absolutely great - thank you to all concerned including of course the Quizmaster who valiantly overcame the flu virus to make it happen.
And why for Kernos?
The Annual General meeting of the Kernos Centre will be held at the Christopher Centre - 10 Gainsborough Street Sudbury Suffolk CO10 2EU - at 5:15 p.m. on Friday 15th January 2010.

I was very interested to read in last weeks Free Press (October 15) about Julie Lowe cycling 350 miles in order to raise money for the local charity The Kernos Centre which provides support services and counselling for people, of all ages and walks of life.
