The BBC Radio 4 presenter of Mid Week; broadcaster, author and journalist - Libby Purves OBE - will be our guest speaker on 21st October on “Why Kernos Matters to Me”.
Kernos celebrates its 5th anniversary of inception and has helped over 650 clients. We are extremely fortunate to have Libby Purves for this event and expect attendance to be high. The event is being held at the Masonic Hall in North Street, Sudbury, starting at 6.45pm, and will include speeches from Kernos Directors, a singing quartet, a buffet and a raffle and is being opened by Sudbury’s Town Mayor - Councillor John Sayers.
The evening will focus particularly on the need for adolescents to be able to access counselling, and will be supported by Sudbury Upper school with whom we work closely, amongst others.
Entrance is by ticket only. Anyone wanting a ticket should phone the Kernos centre on 01787 882883. Tickets are free of charge, but donations would be most welcome. We will be accepting donations during the evening.
