Kernos Centre 'Waiting List' now Open

As from the 1st August the Kernos Centre is now able to add people to its much reduced waiting list.

This coincides with the Kernos Centre re-opening for referrals for adults who need counselling support from the 1st August. The waiting list had become so long in January this year that the Kernos Centre was only able to take on new referrals for adolescents - because this work was funded by the Suffolk Foundation.

Thank you to Kernos Funders - August 2009:

Kernos would like to thanks the following organisations for their donations and assistance to us, to allow us to help their community:

Suffolk Foundation
Babergh District Council
West Suffolk Local Strategic Partnership
Suffolk Single Gateway
Sudbury Town Council
Long Melford Parish Council
Clare Parish Council

and others such as the Saracen's Head, Newton Green for hosting a golf day for our benefit.

Successful Golf Day provides much needed funds

Jenny Ager - Volunteer fundraiser at Kernos Centre - ran a successful Golf event at the Saracen’s Head, Newton Green on Monday 13th July. The event raised £976 to support our work . We would like to thank Theresa Symons of the Saracens Head who donated all of the profits from the golf day and evening meal to the Kernos Centre.
