Posted August 4th, 2009 by GrahamHillKernos welcomes Richard Simmonds, as a new Trustee.
Posted March 19th, 2009 by GrahamHillThe Kernos centre has a new Director.
We welcome Richard Simmonds who has joined the Kernos board of Trustees from March 2009. Richard is recently retired from Waltham Forest Council, and brings with him a very facilitative and enthusiastic approach.
Already in the works is a 'Towards The Horizon' workshop. This will be a half-day event focussing on the year ahead for Kernos. We want to involve all Kernos friends and staff, and will want their perpectives and input. We will also extend this invitation to our close working partners.
Successful Quiz night for Kernos ...
Posted March 19th, 2009 by GrahamHillOn the 27th of February, Kernos held a quiz night at Long Melford Village Hall to raise money for our charity.
It was a great success with over 100 people attending the event. Teams of six were invited to come and eat, quiz and be merry - with a chance to win!
The total raised that evening was over £800. Kernos would like to thank the person who won the numbers draw, as they donated their prize money back into the Kernos fund.
