In April 2007 we were once again successful in obtaining a grant from The Local Network Fund (LNF). LNF funding has allowed us to continue with the Adolescent Project giving counselling sessions to young people in our area free of charge and without having to put them on a long waiting list.

Cathy Jumps for Kernos
Posted December 1st, 2006 by AnonymousCathy Press, one of the Kernos Centre's counsellors has parachute from a plane to raise funds for the Charity.
When asked why she was doing this Cathy replied " because I feel passionately that people should be able to get counselling when they need, and not be excluded on the grounds they can't afford to pay for it." Kernos receives no government funding and relies on donations, grants, fundraising and fees from clients who can pay.
